    Our client is looking for two Primary MA's on the Northside of Indianapolis. This is a contract to hire role. They will work at a few different locations but mileage is reimbursed. 


    Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

    This individual will be a Primary Medical Assistant and will be the main support for one of the physicians.



    • Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, and equipment for office examination procedures as necessary.
    • Ensure efficient flow of the patients to and from exam rooms. Ensure exam rooms are full and the physician is never delayed with an empty room.
    • Maintain visibility and availability to physicians and patients at all times.
    • Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and make certain all office medical equipment is maintained in proper working order. Report to Primary Medical Assistant any inadequacies.  Check expiration dates of all medications on a monthly basis.
    • Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient and patient’s family.
    • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens or perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies, and sterilize medical instruments.
    • Aid Physician in the examination and treatment of the patient.
    • Instruct patients about medications, prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
    • Prepare all prescription refills and medication requests for physician approval and follow through with notifying the patient or requesting facility of the physician’s response.
    • Assist Primary RN/MAs with surgery pre-certifications as needed.




    • At least 3 years working as a Medical Assistant
    • Graduate from a certified Medical Assistant Program or experience working as a Medical Assistant.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients and physicians, groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time.
    • Comfortable working at different locations
