The TDH Emergency Preparedness program has deployed 4 new systems within last year. We have the critical need to develop and deliver a training and education program that covers all the systems and all user types of the systems. To include the visual/analytics associated with each. We must develop a training and education program that is cost effective, targeted to audience, and as self-sustaining as possible. We have the need to validate the effectiveness of the training program by helping plan and conducting exercises with the healthcare coalitions and other response agencies.

If we do not accomplish this work we may jeopardize the success of the EP systems and programs. This may result is a less prepared disaster response community affecting the life and property of Tennesseans.
