    Our client is looking for an Operations Manager in Richmond, IN.


    Shift Hours: 8AM-4:30PM

    Position Summary: 

    This position provides leadership, oversight, and facilitates implementation, training, and quality improvement activities for the residential addiction unit on ground at the Hospital.  This includes supervising and directing all aspects of the program including employees, budgets, and operations.  This position ensures clients receive quality care and that the organization complies with federal, state and local laws.   



    • Provides coordination and administrative supervision of the program's operations and services.
    • Develops the process for individuals to get access to the residential addiction treatment unit that align with American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), including process flow charts, application, identifies clinical assessment
    • Coordinates through assignment to and supervision of staff, the referral, transfer, screening/intake, assessment, discharge and follow-up processes. 
    • Research, develop and implement the evidence based practices identified to effectively treatment individuals with opioid use disorder and related needs
    • Develops staffing plan based on operation of an ASAM 3.5 residential addiction unit and ensures that adequately trained staff are on duty as required for every shift
    • Facilitates clinical staffing meetings, reviews and monitors the clinical charts.
    • Development of program/curriculum that is gender specific, trauma informed, culturally competent and evidence based.
    • Development and monitoring of annual budget.
    • Develops and oversees all contracts associated with the unit and approves claims associated with contracts
    • Oversees procurement of all items necessary for the unit including but not limited to office supplies, patient furniture, materials required for treatment and training 
    • Ensure all required certifications and designations meet federal and state requirements for operation of a residential addiction unit
    • Develop and maintain approved operations and policies and procedures manuals.
    • Manage all property maintenance, security and safety concerns.
    • Provides leadership and participation in development and implementation of staff training and education.
    • Serves as liaison or representative to state agencies, national organizations and advocacy agencies.
    • Provides oversight, training, supervision, and completes performance appraisals of program staff as assigned;
    • Coordinates and communicates with FSSA Fiscal and DMHA Controller to ensure federal and state financial reports are submitted as required;
    • Plan, organize, monitor, coordinate and supervise the day-to-day operations of the facility and treatment program.
    • Maintain regular communication with key state and local stakeholders regarding status of residential addiction unit
    • Ensure that communication between FSSA/DMHA and leadership at Hospital is consistent and effective
    • Ensures programming and operations of the facility meet regulatory and accreditation standards.



    • Minimum of Master Degree, Licensed Professional in behavioral health or related field (Licensed as LCSW, LMHC and LCAC or LAC preferred.)
    • Minimum of three years of clinical and or administrative supervisory experience
    • Broad clinical and administrative knowledge in addiction treatment including understanding of American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria for residential programming and patient eligibility
    • Knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations and policies related to addiction treatment
    • Ability to identify, analyze, summarize, and communicate information and to formulate recommendations as needed
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including consumers, family members, advocates, and providers of mental health and/or addiction services
    • Knowledge of planning, program development and evaluation methods
    • Knowledge of fiscal and accounting principles to review and track program expenditures and budgets
    • Ability to supervise and manage agency staff
