    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Medical Director of Special Projects: 40% of Total Work Effort
    • Plan, coordinate, and draft minutes of committee meetings: 30% of Total Work Effort
    • Assist with monthly Opioid Epidemic Symposia: 20% of Total Work Effort
    • Travel as necessary to support program needs: 10% of Total Work EffortAs a member of the Division of Health Licensure and Regulation, this position will assist the Medical Director of Special Projects in updating PowerPoint presentations, scheduling meetings, and responding to emails from pain management clinic representatives and community advocates concerned with the Opioid crisis. The ASA2 will plan, coordinate, and draft minutes of committee meetings; assist with the monthly Opioid Epidemic Symposia throughout the State by contacting speakers, updating PowerPoint presentations, copying presentations, copying materials, and contacting caterers. They will attend the Symposia to check-in participants and assist with clean-up. The ASA2 will travel to nine cities in Tennessee to coordinate the logistics of conferences and provide assistance to the medical professionals in attendance (physicians, APRNs, Physician Assistants and Veterinarians).

    M-F 8-4:30pm

    Pay $15.50/hr

    Qualifications

    • Previous Administrative Experience
    • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
    • Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Vision requirements:  Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
