    Knowledge Services is searching for a QA Analyst/Tester for a project lasting through 6/30/2019.  This position is with the State of Maine's Dept. of Health & Human Resources and must sit onsite in Augusta, ME.  This position works 37.5 hours/week and is not open to C2C.

    Responsibilities

    The purpose of this position is to promote and facilitate the exchange of immunization information sent via Health Level Seven (HL7) messages from Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to Maine’s Immunization Information System (IIS), ImmPact. This person will implement and update Immunization Unit interoperability processes as well as ensure compliance with CDC Functional Standards, CDC HL7 1.5 Implementation Guide and Maine interoperability specifications. This position provides support to provider locations and EMR vendors by analyzing HL7 testing scenarios, troubleshooting HL7 errors and providing quality assurance reports. This position will facilitate interoperability onboarding. 
     

    Qualifications

    • IT testing/systems experience in a hospital or social services environment.
    • Interface with end users + testers.
    • Organized and disciplined - able to do root cause analysis.
    • Communication skills and good documentation skills are critical.

    OS:   Windows
    DB SYSTEMS/ TOOLS:   Jira.
    QA/TESTING-APPROACHES, APPS:   Manual testing experience required.
     
     

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
    • Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Vision requirements:  Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
