    • Serve as a consultant to develop the curriculum to be used by Health Ambassadors 40%
    • Assist with outreach activities in schools, faith based institutions, and community settings 30%
    • Coordinate summits for faith and community leaders 20%
    • Travel as necessary to support program needs 10%

    As a member of the office of Minority Health and Disparities Eliminations (OMHDE) this position will serve as a consultant to develop the curriculum to be used by Heath Ambassadors (faith and community leaders). To enhance community understand of the opioid epidemic, this position will be responsible for coordinating Health Ambassador summits to provide information and resources to address opioid use and other risk behaviors train faith and community leaders to become health ambassadors, and to showcase and present awards to youth developing and implementing public awareness campaigns designed to reduce opioid misuse in their communities.


    M-F 8-4:30pm

    Parking is not included

    Pay $18.50/hr




    • Administrative Experience

    Physical Requirements:

    • Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
    • Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Vision requirements:  Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
