    Knowledge Services is searching for a QA Analyst for a year-long project (possible extension) in Carmel, IN.

    Responsibilities

    As the Quality Engineer, you will develop and implement the software testing processes including:
    • Test Planning
    • Test case design and development
    • Test execution and management
    • Test environment management
    • Test automation
    • Performance testing
    • Defect tracking process
    • Testing metrics
    • User Acceptance Testing coordination/facilitation
    You will also interact with development team(s) to foster a collaborate environment where clear details of software defects are exposed and managed to resolution.
     
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Establish an overview of the requirements defined by the customer; drive definition of business, technical, and architectural requirements, and recognizes any inconsistencies, assumptions, and critical elements that must be considered in an Enterprise solution
    • Based on product specifications, use your expertise to design and build test systems supporting new and existing products
    • Implement testing techniques to allow for high quality applications
    • Collaborate closely with engineers to design appropriate tests for specific systems
    • Analyze complex software systems and design test plans and execute test scripts
    • Perform testing of system
    • Foster collaboration between different teams for successful releases

    Qualifications

    • Experience generating test cases from requirements documents for medical instruments
    • Experience executing test cases and generating execution reports
    • Familiarity with the requirements for evidence gathering for regulated systems
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance
    • Experience in performing end-to-end test process for complex enterprise solutions
    • Experience in analyzing business requirements and covering them with test cases
    • Must feel comfortable interfacing with all parties on project team daily including PMs, developers, business stakeholders in daily team meetings

     

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
    • Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Vision requirements:  Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
