    Knowledge Services is seeking a Part-time (20 hrs per week) Paralegal in Nashville TN.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Seeking a part-time paralegal, specifically with respect to educator license disciplinary proceedings.
    • Work duties would include gathering relevant documentation and information from school districts across the state, so the paralegal would need to be comfortable using electronic mail and making phone calls to formulate requests. The paralegal would need to be comfortable drafting simple pleadings such as agreed orders, discovery requests and responses, etc., as well as notice letters to be sent to educators. The paralegal would be expected to handle basic administrative duties as well as speaking with education stakeholders across the state.
    • Litigation experience is preferred. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe. The Board is flexible about whether the paralegal works morning or afternoon hours each day. 

    Pay $28.00/hr

    Hours flexible 20 hrs per week

    Qualifications

    • Must have 3+ years prior ParaLegal experience preferable in Litigation
    • Paralegal
    • Proficient in Word, Excel and Adobe

    Physical Requirements:

    • Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
    • Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Vision requirements:  Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
