Overview

Knowledge Services is seeking a Java /Adobe Experience Manager Developer (AEM Developer) for a 12 month contract to hire role with the State of Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury.  Role will convert to a State employee after 12 months with State benefits!  Great work/life balance working 37.5 hrs/week.  Position will mostly work remotely, but require about 25% onsite support so candidates MUST BE LOCAL to the Nashville area.

Responsibilities

The Java / AEM Developer will be responsible for the continued development and support of AEM platform for the Comptroller’s Office  


• Develop front end templates in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and reusable components
• Support previously developed components
• Assist with deployments
• Provide production support for JAVA / AEM and problem resolution for assigned applications
• Work with senior architects, internal IT, and development partners to consult on web technology solutions using the latest Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring of team members using AEM 
• Assist in other roles (e.g., testing) as needed 

Qualifications

The Java / AEM Developer Qualifications:


• 2 - 5 years of Java development experience with at least 1-2 years of AEM development experience required
• Strong development experience in core Java, J2EE, Sightly/HTL, Adobe AEM, RESTful web services and modern front-end frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, LESS, etc.)
• Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager 6.x with a multi-site environment
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting AEM Dispatcher Module
• Experience working with DAM best practices around the management of large asset data stores
• Familiar with CI/CD processes within Cloud Manager
• Understanding/Experience with authentication methods, SSO, OATH, SAML, LDAP
• Exceptional interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
• Adaptable to change and innovative thought-process
• Technical communication skills for interacting with both developers and stakeholders
• Agile experience and participation in daily scrum meetings

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
  • Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
