Overview

Knowledge Services is actively seeking a Sr .NET / WPF Developer  candidate for a 6 months + contract to hire role  with our prestigious client. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN and will be remote with occasional onsite. Candidates have to be local or within driving distance for meetings ever other week. 

Responsibilities

 

The Sr .NET / WPF Developer responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

  • PC and microprocessor based software development
  • software/hardware integration, written correspondence and documentation
  • system verification and validation, and customer interaction and training, as necessary.

Qualifications

The Sr .NET / WPF Developer will have the below qualifications:

 

  1. A BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  4. Experience with some or all of the following technologies: C#, WPF, SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, ASP.Net, C++, VB, COM/ATL
  5. Experience in developing Graphical User Interfaces
  6. Experience with serial communications or TCP/IP is a plus.
  7. The successful candidate will have successful experience in with projects that identify, design, implement, and deliver quality software applications integrated with various hardware and other connected devices.

  8. The ability to work closely with customers, understand problems, and present quality solutions is required.

  9. The successful candidate will be able to quickly learn about FDA 21 CFR Part 820 – Quality System Regulation and IEC 62304 Software Development Lifecycle.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
  • Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision requirements:  Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
