Every year Knowledge Services' Talent Division places hundreds of contract employees in varying assignments across the U.S.  The Employee Relations Coordinator acts as the main point of contact for our contract employees that work on-site at our client locations.  You will be responsible for providing a superior customer support experience to our contract employees and clients.  The Employee Relations Coordinator plays a critical role on the team by not only facilitating the new hire experience, but by also providing ongoing support to contractors and clients regarding various HR related questions and issues, throughout the duration of the contract assignment. 


This role will allow you to impact the lives of others by helping them get adjusted to a new career and providing dedicated support throughout their role.  You'll have the opportunity to learn and hone your skills in various HR areas such as Onboarding, Employee Relations, HR legal compliance, payroll topics, employee benefits, policies, and more. 



  • Oversee the onboarding process for all new hires - including all required pre-hire documentation.
  • Act as a main point of contact for Recruiters, Clients and Employees during on-boarding and assignment duration.
  • Review I-9’s and follow proper record and retention procedures.
  • Perform background checks, run E-Verify, and schedule drug screens.
  • Communicate proactively and regularly with the Client and Employees.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both Client and Employees.
  • Ensure all temporary Employees’ weekly time is entered and collected.
  • Recommend solutions to any employment-related issues raised by Clients and temporary Employees, as well as review processes on an ongoing basis to identify proactive ways to improve efficiencies.
  • Manage and administer workers compensation, unemployment, and FMLA claims
  • Maintain compliance of all contract employee documentation
  • Motivate and guide team to optimal performance by mitigating roadblocks and implementing pro-activeness within the team culture.


  • Minimum six months prior professional working experience in an office environment required.
  • Superior level of customer service skills required. High levels of professionalism in communication and presentation required.
  • Prior experience with MS Office Suite and software systems required.
