Data Imaging Clerk (Secret Clearance required)

Knowledge Services is actively seeking Data Imaging Clerks for a direct hire opportunity with our client located on the east of Indianapolis, IN and workers must be onsite. This role requires a secret clearance.

Schedule: M-F, 8 am to 4:30 pm. There is a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and two 15-minute paid breaks.

Data Imaging Clerk may be responsible for prep, scanning, data indexing, or other data imaging processes. The prep process is re-boxing and preparing the documents for the scanning process that will be used to transfer the files into digital images. The data indexing is comprised of alphabetic and numeric data from electronic images including repair of incorrect data resulting from OCR process (optical character recognition results). Data Imaging Clerk will be cross trained into many different aspects of the data imaging process, as needed.

• Enters alphabetic and numeric data from electronic images utilizing the MAVRO software application to capture the appropriate data including repairing any rejected characters as a result of the OCR function.
• Documents that are not able to be indexed, may need to route electronic image to the next workflow process.
• Responds to inquiries regarding the status of data indexing, rejected character repair, or quality assurance phases of the data indexing process.
• Follows proper procedures, rules, and processes for data indexing and quality assurance of data.
• Utilizes appropriate and compliant safeguards to reasonably prevent the use or disclosure of confidential and protected information including Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and reports any concerns to the supervisor.
• Data Imaging Clerk must be a team player and required to assist the entire team in meeting these requirements.
  • 90% of all medical records will be completely processed within 10 business days.
  • 100% of the medical records will be scanned color mode at a minimum of 300 d.p.
