Knowledge Services is currently hiring a Staffing Customer Service Specialist for our local state government accounts.  In this role you will manage client hiring programs and ensure the onboarding process is running smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with policies and procedures.  You'll be the main point of contact to support various client workforce management inquires and requests for the account.

This role offers a hybrid work environment.  


This is a six-month contract position with the potential of permanent hire.



  • Serve as main account contact for local state government accounts and their HR/hiring programs
  • Support customers with new hiring requests, ensuring all data is accurate and complete
  • Manage data within our in-house proprietary Vendor Management System (VMS) 
  • Serve as main point of contact for vendors and provide consistent updates on the program
  • Review vendor submitted candidates in VMS, select best candidates, and submit to client for review
  • Monitor for the client, and keep them updated on the onboarding progress of new hires  
  • Makes recommendations to the client as needed and review processes on an ongoing basis
  • Resolve miscellaneous client inquiries and partner with internal departments if needed for resolution 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and management to develop client-specific strategies
  • Provide efficient recommendations for all aspects of the program


  • Prior client service/support, operations, project or program coordination experience required
  • Prior HR, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and/or general staffing industry experience is helpful, but not required
  • Proven aptitude to execute in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Positive attitude and proven ability to take initiative 
  • Customer service and strong relationship building experience 
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and follow-up skills
