Knowledge Services, a Fishers-based consulting and technology company, is currently hiring an Onboarding Coordinator. The Onboarding Coordinator plays a critical role on the team by overseeing and facilitating the new hire experience, which includes completing all pre-hire documentation.  Although the focus of the position is facilitating the onboarding process, this role may also help support various HR related questions and concerns from new hires throughout the duration of their employment. 


This role will allow you to impact the lives of others by helping them get adjusted to a new career and providing dedicated support throughout their role.  You'll have the opportunity to learn and hone your skills in various HR areas such as Onboarding, Employee Relations, HR legal compliance, payroll topics, employee benefits, policies, and more.


This position is on-site at the client location in Fishers, IN.

  • Oversee the onboarding process for all new hires - including all required pre-hire documentation.
  • Act as a main point of contact for Recruiters, Clients and Employees during on-boarding and employment duration.
  • Review I-9’s and follow proper record and retention procedures.
  • Perform background checks, run E-Verify, and schedule drug screens.
  • Communicate proactively and regularly with the Client and Employees.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both Client and Employees.
  • Recommend solutions to any employment-related issues raised by Clients and temporary Employees, as well as review processes on an ongoing basis to identify proactive ways to improve efficiencies.
  • Manage and administer workers compensation, unemployment, and FMLA claims.
  • Maintain compliance of all employee documentation.
  • Motivate and guide team to optimal performance by mitigating roadblocks and implementing pro-activeness within the team culture.


  • Prior Onboarding or HR related experience. 
  • Superior level of customer service skills required.
  • Ability to operate in a high-volume environment and stay organized.
  • High levels of professionalism in communication and presentation required.
  • Prior experience with MS Office Suite and software systems required.
