Senior .NET Developer (Hybrid)

Knowledge Services is currently hiring a passionate Senior Software Engineer to write clean code and contribute towards the development of creative solutions using modern DevOps and Agile processes and tools. This is a hands-on role focused on the design and development of high-quality and innovative software that complies with industry best practices and secure coding guidelines.

The ideal candidate will help generate innovative ideas and provide process improvement suggestions, as well as collaborate closely with other developers on the team through Agile engineering practices like pair programming. You'll join a team that is passionate about transforming our product and have the ability to help guide the direction of our application stack.

This role offers a hybrid work environment. 

• Design, develop, and unit test C# and VB web applications, Web Services, and Web API with a SQL Server database backend
• Focus on building new applications.
• Proficient in object-oriented design principles (SOLID)
• Code and perform unit testing using XUnit.
• Promote best practices and industry standards as well as internal development standards.
• Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness.
• Generate innovative ideas and provide process improvement suggestions
• Assist in evaluating and recommending technical solutions
• Produce Clean Code
• Collaborate with the team and encourage development of team members 

• 5-7 years of industry experience in analysis, design, and development
• Prior Agile development experience using practices like test-driven development
• Deep understanding of web architecture and numerous design patterns
• Strong back-end developer with extensive database experience
• Experience with C# and .NET 5 framework
• Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures and ORMs
• Experience working with Cloud technologies (ideally Azure) and RESTful applications
• Experience building responsive web applications using modern frameworks such as Angular
• Prior knowledge of DevOps (ideally Azure DevOps)
• Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with a team and sharing ideas
