Knowledge Services is looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team and help grow our Staffing Services within private and public sector accounts. Your main focus will be on identifying and growing new business opportunities.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities include:


Business Growth:

  • Grow the current staffing accounts and maintain existing accounts to increase staffing sales.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop relationships with prospects and clients.
  • Develop relationships with prospects to identify their needs and recommend solutions.
  • Build and maintain trusted book of business
  • Seek referrals to generate new leads from all client contacts, hiring managers, and partners.
  • Participate in local conferences and networking events



  • Work collaboratively with the recruiting and account management team to ensure the delivery and communication exceeds the client's expectations. 
  • Build relationships with currently employed Knowledge Services contractors.
  • Gather feedback from clients on Knowledge Services contractor performance and coach contractor accordingly.



  • Identify the appropriate hiring managers in existing accounts and secure / fill job orders within assigned accounts.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing industry media, establishing personal networks, and participating in networking organizations.
  • Leverage CRM tool to manage and report all activities with client (calls, meetings, notes, scheduled tasks, etc.).
  • Provide the utmost professionalism and service to our clients and our candidates.


Business Development Manager Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of successful experience working in account management and sales
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • IT staffing experience with a focus on Software Development, Data, and Networking/Security positions preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, a sense of urgency, and a high standard of professionalism 
  • A desire to learn, teach, and contribute to a positive team culture.
