Knowledge Services is actively seeking a VP of Marketing and Communications in Indianapolis, IN.  This is a full time, direct hire opportunity and will be an onsite role with some travel required through the State of Indiana.

Responsibilities

Vice President of Marketing and Communication Responsibilities:

• Serves as the chief strategist for marketing and communication strategies.

• Oversees both internal and external marketing and communications.

• Develops and manages the partnerships with marketing agencies and media buyers and analyzes data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

• Works closely with leadership to implement innovative marketing techniques and programs developed to enhance the brand.
• Oversees all statewide branding, marketing, and advertising campaigns.

• Develops, implements, and oversees the execution of a multi-year and annual comprehensive marketing strategy to support the recruitment and enrollment plan.

• Ensure Systems Office teams have effective and collaborative marketing support. 

• Manages and provides guidance on media inquiries. Duties outside normal business hours may be required to fulfill communications and spokesperson responsibilities.

• Manages the brand both internally and externally. Duties outside normal business hours may be required to fulfill communications and spokesperson responsibilities.

• Utilizes diverse public relations strategies to maximize exposure in various markets of the state.

• Develops and implements an integrated plan to utilize print and digital recruitment collateral in partnership with the Vice President for Recruitment and Enrollment Management using research-based decisions on message and delivery mediums.

• Identifies and employs marketing strategies that clearly showcase the vision and mission, to drive enrollment growth across programs in alignment with goals.

• Provides comprehensive statistical and data-informed analyses necessary to make sound strategic decisions regarding marketing plans and return on investment (ROI).

• Monitors and assesses data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts, voice of the customer analysis; and other emerging technologies that enhance yield with prospective students and their families.

• Partners with the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging to identify and implement marketing strategies that align with diverse audiences, employing tone, imagery, and approaches that resonate with various audiences.

• Leads the vision for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud to explore new opportunities and equip campus teams with the necessary resources to fully leverage this tool.

Qualifications

Vice President of Marketing and Communication Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

• A minimum of (7) years of experience leading a marketing and communication function is required; higher education recruitment and enrollment experience is preferred.

• Must be a highly efficient, effective, and results-oriented individual with strong business acumen, proven experience leading, motivating, and managing a team, and knowledge of best practices and current trends in the marketing field.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Experience with current and emerging technology (hardware and software solutions) related to marketing.
