Overview

Knowledge Services is seeking a remote Workday Enterprise Architect (MuleSoft and Workday) for a 3-month contract.   Position is able to work 100% remotely!

Responsibilities

The Workday Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the architecture of a new MuleSoft and Workday Financial Management solution.
• The Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our organization's technology landscape and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and align technology strategies with overall business objectives.
• Assess existing enterprise architecture, identify gaps, and propose solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Lead the design and development of architectural solutions, ensuring they adhere to industry best practices and standards.
• Provide guidance and oversight to technical teams in the implementation of architecture, ensuring consistency and compliance with established principles.
• Utilize TOGAF principles to develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts, including architecture roadmaps, standards, and guidelines.
• Leverage your expertise in MuleSoft and Workday to design integration solutions that enhance data flow, process automation, and system interoperability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with architecture design and implementation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in the enterprise architecture landscape.

Qualifications

The Workday Enterprise Architect Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft and Workday Financial Management platforms, including integration design, API management, and data transformation.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex architectural solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of TOGAF principles and methodologies, with the ability to apply them to solve real-world challenges.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the public sector or government projects is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, and to lead and influence technical teams toward achieving architecture goals.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) are a plus.
