Application Review Specialist

Knowledge Services is currently hiring multiple remote Application Review Specialists for a 3-month project.  In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing applications of medical related providers and, if necessary, reaching out to the providers for additional information. Once the application is complete and ready for approval, you will turn it over to the customer to approve the issuance of the certification letter. This work is mostly performed via email but may require some phone interaction.

Monday - Friday 

8 a.m - 5 p.m.

$22.50/hour

• Utilizing and completing the steps within the process manual to complete the review process, including but not limited to:
  • Review emails and applications
  • Classify emails with appropriate tags and in appropriate folders
  • Update tracking spreadsheets
  • Review and act upon applications
  • Issue the certification letter at the customer's direction and discretion
• Updating the application status in tracking spreadsheet
• Become familiar with the policies utilized in the review process
• Provide timely correspondence with applicants whose applications are under review
• Interfacing and inputting data into a system

• Health & Human Services experience is preferred
• 1 year of data entry experience in a professional work environment required
• Good written and verbal communication required
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
• Must be professional and have demonstrated strong commitment to exceptional customer service
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook required
• Ability to identify and analyze problem situations and develop an effective course of action for resolution
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• A resident of Indiana
