Knowledge Services is seeking a remote Workday Business Analyst for a contract through the end of December 2025 (potential for extension) with the State of Maine Office of Technology.
Workday Business Analyst Responsibilities:
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze, document, and formalize business processes into clear and concise SOPs.
• Develop process maps, workflows, and narratives to capture end-to-end procedures.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and document reviews to gather requirements and validate process steps.
• Ensure SOPs are aligned with policy, compliance, and operational needs, and formatted to meet organizational standards.
• Maintain a version control system and manage updates or revisions as needed.
• Translate technical and complex information into reader-friendly, step-by-step guidance for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with QA, operations, and project teams to ensure SOPs are validated and implemented.
• Assist with the creation of supporting materials, such as training guides, checklists, job aids, and FAQs.
Workday Business Analyst Required Skills:
• 3+ years of Workday experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining SOPs, process documentation, or procedural manuals.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow modeling, and requirements gathering
• Previous Local, State, and/or Federal government experience
Preferred:
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, or similar documentation repositories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and clarity.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple SOPs across different stakeholders and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree
