Overview

Knowledge Services is seeking a Records Warehouse Laborer for a 2-month contract with the City of Indianapolis & Marion County Clerk.  

  • Pay rate is $17/hr
  • Work schedule in Mon - Fri from 8-4pm and working onsite in Downtown Indianapolis. 

Responsibilities

Established by the Indiana Constitution, the Marion County Clerk is the custodian of all court records, issues marriage licenses, and serves as the court’s fiscal agent and trustee of child support payments.

The Election Board receives nominations and petitions for elections, as well prepares ballots, and maintains voting machines by cultivating a productive, collaborative, and compliant work environment in order for our workforce to meet the needs of the residents of Indianapolis and Marion County.

 

Responsibilities:

• Incumbent follows established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, is well organized, and detail oriented.

• Works cooperatively within a team environment to ensure all tasks are completed timely.

• Responsible packing, loading, unloading, and organizing confidential records for permanent storage in a warehouse facility.

• Packing and labeling confidential records into boxes, ensuring proper order and accuracy.
• Lifting, carrying, and sorting boxes.
• Operating a pallet jack.

Qualifications

Records Warehouse Laborer Required Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Must be able to communicate effectively orally, verbally, and in written formats.

• Attention to detail is a priority. 

 

Working Conditions
• Essential functions are regularly performed in an office and warehouse setting without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

 

Physical Conditions
• Must be able to move about the facility for extended periods, including walking, climbing stairs, ladders, and standing for tasks such as packing or moving boxes.
• May include crouching to perform tasks such as packing or moving boxes.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of heavy weight (50lbs) throughout the day.
• Tasks require the ability to perceive and hear sounds and see visual cues or signals.
• Tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
