Systems Analyst (remote)

Knowledge Services is seeking a remote Systems Analyst to support a project through June 2026 (potential for extension) with the State of Maine Office of Technology.

• This position will work 100% remotely (applicants residing in the EST or CST time zones are preferred)
• Applicants with prior State or Federal government experience are preferred
• Please note that we cannot accept any candidates requiring C2C or sponsorship for a work visa

Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

• This Systems Analyst will support a core Oracle application.

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting technical analysis, grooming the product backlog, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support ongoing development and operational needs.

• Perform in-depth technical analysis of Oracle-based systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and prioritize the application backlog.
• Create and maintain clear, accurate documentation for system processes and enhancements.
• Support administrative functions including:
• Application deployment certification processes.
• Preparation and submission of waiver documentation.
• Representing DAFS Applications in MaineIT’s Change Management processes.

Systems Analyst Required Skills:

• Must have experience with System Analysis & Design of Oracle applications and enterprise systems analysis.

• Must have experience with Gathering Technical Requirements
• Must have experience with Documentation for Technical Change Management
• Must have experience with Jira

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog grooming practices.
• Experience with IT administrative processes, including change management and deployment support
