Overview

Knowledge Services is actively seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a contract (4-8 month) position with our client in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Lead complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with technical teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications and support solution design and implementation.
  • Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement to deliver client value.
  • Use advanced process modeling techniques to identify and design improvements in business workflows that align with strategic goals.
  • Possess relevant advanced certifications and contributes to creating internal certification criteria. 
  • Lead internal training sessions, sharing expertise and best practices with colleagues.
  • Lead high-level strategic discussions with key stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and external partners, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cultivate a culture of openness and transparency among BA’s, encouraging feedback and iterative improvements through effective communication channels.
  • Contribute to project planning, risk management, and change management activities to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Contribute to high quality, professional deliverables in order to meet project timelines to ensure that client expectations are set accurately from the beginning.
  • Create professional, user-friendly documentation and training materials to support solution adoption and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide guidance on using tools and techniques effectively, supporting less experienced BAs in their professional development.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Proven ability to collaborate with clients to elicit and document business and technical requirements.
  • Skilled in business analysis techniques, including identifying problems, opportunities, and recommending data-driven solutions.
  • Experience assessing business needs and proposing process improvements or system enhancements.
  • Experience managing or coordinating projects using project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
  • Ability to lead process re-engineering efforts.
  • Skilled in team coordination and resource management.
  • Experience supporting the rollout and adoption of business solutions.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and generate visualizations or dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Familiarity with change management principles to drive adoption.
  • Ability to create training materials and conduct end-user or internal staff training.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and Project, with the ability to create, manage, and deliver high-quality, professional artifacts. Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all deliverables, supporting effective communication and project success.

Location

Local to Dallas, TX 

Will be required to make onsite visits for interviews and meetings

 

Timeframe

Contract: 4-8 months
