Overview

This position is located on-site in Winthrop, Maine. Prospective candidates must reside within a 1-hour distance of Winthrop, Maine. 

 

Knowledge Services is currently seeking a skilled Systems Administrator for Disability Determination Services(DDS). The position is critical in ensuring that the systems used by all staff within the agency operates effectively and efficiently. This role also serves as the primary local security officer for the DDS. The position works with users to troubleshoot daily system problems and works with various federal officials to manage the network, servers, and attached peripherals. The position handles hardware and software issues, and various applications including BI, print and correspondence and imaging.

 

Work Location: Fully on-site in Winthrop, Maine

Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (40-hour work week)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • COMPTIA A+ Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of FISMA Standards, NISTCSF standards, and CISA standards
  • M365 (MS Office), OneDrive, One Note, SharePoint, Teams
  • Business Intelligence software such as SQL queries
  • MS PowerShell
  • System Center Configuration Manager
  • Microsoft Active Directory, group policy administrator
  • New user set up, configuration and assignment of roles/tasks within several programs including Systems Access management (SAMs), Disability Case Processing System (DCPS)
  • Setup and installation of user laptops, services, printers
  • Maintain access audits
  • Provide network support
  • Ensure user education of security standards is completed regularly
  • Manage and communicate with building control
  • Systems Intrusion Monitoring (Splunk)

Minimum Education Level

  • Associate's Degree
