Overview

Knowledge Services is currently seeking an Imaging Operations Team Lead to support the daily operations of the Imaging unit by performing production work, coordinating workflow, and serving as the primary on‑floor resource for questions, process clarification, and issue escalation. This role requires strong working knowledge of prep, scan, indexing, Indexing Review, quality control, and all related imaging processes. The Team Lead assists with training, identifies issues that impact production, communicates concerns with the appropriate leadership, and supports the Supervisor and Operations Manager with operational needs. This position is hands‑on and expected to assist wherever needed to maintain production flow and quality.

 

Work Location: Indianapolis, IN (East Side). Some travel required. 

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM (Second Shift)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Works production in prep, scan, indexing, Indexing Review, and other imaging processes.
  • Answers questions and share information with team members as needed.
  • Reviews current workload and production data to help maintain steady workflow and appropriate task assignments.
  • Assists with training materials and participates in training and cross‑training of associates.
  • Operator adherence to department and company processes, procedures, and quality standards is monitored, and any concerns are communicated to the Supervisor or Operations Manager.
  • Issues work instructions as directed by the Supervisor and follows up to ensure completion.
  • Examines logs, reports, and output for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintains open communication and supports a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Attendance, adherence, and performance issues that may impact production are identified and reported to the Supervisor or Operations Manager.
  • Assists other teams when their Team Lead is absent to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Assists with special projects, audits, and contracts specific tasks as assigned.
  • Must be available for overtime as needed, including some weekdays and weekends with notice.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support overall operational success.

Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills.
  • Previous leadership or team‑support experience preferred.
  • Higher education or management studies helpful.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

  • Ability to write routine reports, production metrics, and correspondence.
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply imaging systems, workflows, and SOPs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Demands and Work Enviornment

  • Frequent requirements include sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands to write, type, handle, or feel.
  • Close vision is required for document handling and imaging tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required.
  • The noise level is typically moderate.
  • The work environment involves proximity to many individuals, similar to a public or shared workspace.

 

This is a long-term position offered at $23.95-27.95/hr with paid time off, benefits, and a 40 hour work week of Monday-Friday 4:00PM - 12:30AM.  Please apply now for immediate consideration.
