Duties

  • Will be processing medical doctors' licenses. Must be very professional with excellent writing/communication skills
  • Not easily rattled
  • Quickly and accurately processes all information received by the Board of Medical Examiners and ensure delivery of physical information to the appropriate file and updating of all electronic records (VR) 
  • Reviews medical doctors' applications for accuracy. Provides frequent status updates to all applicants and updates the VR System with progress notes as appropriate. Understanding of Medical terminology is a must.
  • Interacts with applicants, their agents and members of the public in a professional manner providing prompt, reliable customer service.
  • Assists in preparation for Board of Medical Examiners' meetings to include: gathering information, preparing files, interacting with board members, drafting minutes, mailing necessary correspondence, scheduling committee meetings, etc.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have 4+ years recent, administrative experience with strong computer and time management skills
  • Strong in Microsoft Office products (MS Word/Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
