Responsibilities

Purpose of Position/Summary: 

Provides case management administrative and clerical support services to Family Case Managers and local office management.   

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides case management administrative support;
  • Prepares case documents and forms;
  • Responsible for data entry of case and client information;
  • Develops a case file on each client, which includes necessary forms, all correspondence, case history, and court records;
  • Maintains a variety of case files and records management, ensuring information is kept organized and that all necessary case documentation is contained therein;
  • Schedules meetings and home visits with clients, communicating directly with involved parties;
  • Obtains required reports and case documents from clients;
  • Receives and responds to routine requests for information and documents;
  • Receives and responds to routine inquiries from client and/or the public by telephone and/or correspondence regarding case information, services, and/or programs;
  • Provides clerical assistance at child-family team meetings and hearings by taking notes, providing follow-up questions to case managers and clients, and keeping track of documents;
  • Maintain client files and case information;
