Overview

Knowledge Services is hiring a PeopleSoft HR Specialist for a contract to hire opportunity with the State of Indiana’s Office of Information Technology. This person will provide analysis and technical support for the PeopleSoft Human Resources application. The application is currently on version 9.1.

 

The client is looking for a person with experience using all PeopleSoft HR modules supporting end users and business owners. This person is expected to be able to write/troubleshoot/decipher queries using PeopleSoft delivered tools and App Designer. 

 

This position requires a first round onsite interview. Candidates must be eligible for full time employment without condition for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analysis, design and implementation on the PeopleSoft HR system.
  • Update existing data, creates new data, and follows SLDC procedures in PeopleSoft using the Application Designer and other a development tools.
  • Act as a key technical consultant in all aspects of PeopleSoft technology.
  • Formulate system scope, project cost, time estimates and human resource and equipment requirements for implementation of new application software or enhancements to existing application software systems;
  • Assist in the analysis and design of paperless office and digital signature processes for SPD in regard to PeopleSoft HR system.
  • Work with other agencies and SPD departments for the purpose of developing, modifying, implementing, or delivering workforce reports developed through crystal and a variety of other tools.
  • Provide complete documentation for new or modified information systems and/or application software programs;

Qualifications

  • Resource must have experience with the key supported modules, including:
    • Workforce Administration
    • Benefits Administration
    • Performance Management
    • Organizational Design
    • Enterprise Learning Management
    • Security
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred however not required
  • Experience with peopleSoft 9.2 would be a huge benefit
  • Extensive knowledge of information systems design principles and new systems design techniques;
  • Extensive knowledge of policies, standards, procedures, and techniques used for application development;
  • Advanced knowledge of application development software languages (Including PeopleCode)
  • Ability to perform problem solving and analytics analysis;
  • Extensive knowledge of application development software tools and application development software languages, specifically, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand complicated technical manuals;
  • Ability to manage multiple application development software projects and priorities;
