Overview

Long-term contract through Sept. 2018 with the State of TN!   Terrific opportunity for an experienced Network Security Engineer to support the State.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of routing and switching administration, design, configuration, and troubleshooting using Cisco best practices for IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS
  • Strong firewall and network administration and troubleshooting
  • Advanced skills working with Cisco and Juniper switches and firewalls
  • SIEM (ESM) log analysis, alarm and alert creation experience
  • Knowledge of VPN (Site to site and remote) administration
  • Ability to perform 24x7 advanced tier troubleshooting, including off-hour maintenance activities, problem resolution, and on-call duty (comp time will be given – total hours not to exceed 37.5/week)
  • Extensive experience working in structured change management ITSM process for highly available enterprise networks
  • Customer focused and mission-driven
  • Willing to take initiative to work in fast paced, high-pressure environment
  • Cisco CCNP certification in routing, switching, or security a plus
